One Unapologetic Mission.
The founders of IACAPP brought with them decades of combined experience in clinical practice, healthcare education, and ministry. They had seen firsthand the unique pressures facing Christian healthcare providers — the tension between faith and a secular clinical culture, the isolation of holding convictions that aren't always welcomed in the workplace, and the deep longing for a community that truly understands.
Out of that experience, they made a decision: to create an organization that unapologetically puts Christ first. Not as an afterthought or a tagline, but as the foundation of everything — the reason we serve, the standard we pursue, and the source of the compassion we bring to every patient encounter.
IACAPP was built to foster the nurturing of faith, continued education, compassionate care, and clinical excellence — all under one roof. We believe these are not competing priorities. They are inseparable dimensions of what it means to be a Christian advanced practice provider.
Looking ahead, our vision is expansive. We are actively growing our membership, expanding our regional chapter network across the United States, and pursuing international reach so that Christian APPs around the world can find community and support. We are developing our annual conference into a landmark event for faith-integrated healthcare, building out continuing education courses that speak to both the clinical and spiritual dimensions of practice, and creating a robust library of resources for the whole person — faith formation, clinical growth, and everything in between.
